The BSCHM is an undergraduate degree program designed to equip students with operational, managerial, and scientific aspects of the hospitality and service industry.
It combines hands-on practical training in hotel operations (kitchen, service, front desk, housekeeping) with scientific and analytical foundation courses like food nutrition, hygiene, food chemistry, and hospitality economics.
What Makes PIHM Different?
- Curriculum – Course is balanced blend of hotel operation, management and food science by study of four core subject including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Service, food Production and Bakery and allied necessary subjects with combination of theory and practical learning with industrial training.

- Industrial Exposure (Internship) – During the 6th & 8th semester, students undergo a mandatory 24 week Industrial Training (IT) at luxury hotels or resorts. Students rotate across all key departments to experience real-time shift operations, guest interactions, and emergency management.
- Higher Education– It builds the base to pursue MTM or Masters in arts and commerce sector.
- Career Oriented– As the course provide the practical training, industry exposure, trainings students get ready to grab opportunity with career and placement guidance provided by PIHM.
